Description

The Des-Case Standard Disposable Desiccant Vent Breather will absorb moisture from the air being drawn into the fuel tank as the fuel level drops.  It will also filter the air of particulates, dirt, and organic components, including bacterial and fungal growth, present in the air.  Moisture and microbial contamination that enters through the vent as air is pulled into the tank is the primary source of water accumulation in fuel tanks and the principal cause of “algae” growth in fuel tanks.

Just like you would not consider operating your diesel equipment without an air intake filter, you should not think twice about the importance of assuring clean, dry air is being pulled into your fuel tank.  This is especially critical in any marine, farming, construction or mining operation located in high humidity regions.

DC-3 Desiccant Vent Breather have an Integrated Standpipe, silica gel and layered filter media, and it filters particulates larger than 3-micron.

The DC-3 will fit 1″ vent pipes and comes with Multi-Fit Thread Adapters (NPT, BSPP, BSPT)
